Sarah Beasley

Sarah has a well-developed practice in both public and private children law.

Known for her excellent client care skills, Sarah is dedicated to reassuring her clients by demonstrating thorough preparation, ensuring the client understand the process and that they feel their voice has been heard. Sarah is experienced in working with clients who have a range of vulnerabilities such as severe mental or physical health issues, addiction, people with cognitive difficulties and in matters where allegations of serious abuse has been raised. Sarah is often commended for her kindness and exceptional patience.

Sarah was recognised as a Tier 1 Rising Star in both the 2023 and 2024 Legal 500 directory. The ranking recognises Sarah’s work in high calibre cases which have included significant allegations of physical, emotional and sexual abuse, alienation, international relocation and adoption.

Sarah was the sole advocate for an appellant local authority in the Court of Appeal case of M (A Child: Leave to oppose adoption) [2023] EWCA Civ. 404. The local authority were successful in that appeal.

Sarah has a wealth of experience in working with professional clients, from initial removal hearings, to fact finds and final hearings.
