We are delighted to announce that Duncan Brooks KC of QEB has accepted an invitation to join St Mary's as a door tenant.

He has been a Family Law Arbitrator (Financial Scheme) since 2013 and has conducted over 35 arbitrations and sat on more than 100 Private FDRs as the evaluator. Duncan is described in the legal directories as “calm, clever and sensible. He is an exceptional arbitrator and private FDR judge. He immediately puts clients at ease with his kind and thoughtful manner “ and as “phenomenally good. His knowledge of the law and procedure, which extends far beyond family law and the family procedure rules is second to none. His judgement is excellent, and he is always calm under pressure. His preparation of cases is exemplary, and clients love him. His advocacy is always measured yet persuasive, and he has the ear of all judges.”
Welcoming Duncan to the St Mary’s team, Joint Head of Chambers, Gareth Jacques said “I am extremely delighted to welcome Duncan as a door tenant at St Mary’s. Duncan brings with him a wealth of experience in the financial remedies and ADR sphere and it is a great coup for someone of Duncan’s stature to join us.
