New Tenant

We are delighted to announce that Claire Garton will be joining St. Mary’s as a tenant from 1 July 2024.

Claire was called to the Bar in 2013 and completed a family and civil pupillage at KCH Garden Square in 2020. Prior to completing pupillage, Claire worked in-house at a Local Authority as a legal practitioner, gaining invaluable experience in family law matters. In 2023, Claire completed the Inns of Court College Advocacy and Family Law Bar Associations specialist vulnerable witness advocacy training programme.

Claire has a growing reputation locally and joins St. Mary’s to further develop her practice in all areas of family law.

Welcoming Claire to St. Mary’s, Joint Head of Chambers, Claire Howell said: “Claire has built a great practice since I first met her as a pupil barrister in 2020 and I am so pleased that she has joined our Team. I am sure that Claire’s career will go from strength to strength at St. Mary’s and I am looking forward to working alongside her.”
